On Saturday 11/15 our skies were a deep hazy brown from the ash of local wild fires (they happen multiple times a year here) Those dumb enough (as I was) to have a window open had a layer of ash within our homes as well as that campfire smell. I didn’t notice the ash had made it onto the scanner surface until after the scan but chose to leave it in.
